Hi,
thanks for your work in first place.
I?m new to this spam war, and I?ve a couple of doubts regarding your script in the helo checks.
You have a lot of delays in the script, does that mean that for each check it will wait 3s ? or only if the condition is met ?
Can we have a stat of the helo checks failed ? Does it write them in exim_mainlog or in exim_rejectlog ?

Thanks smile.gif

It will delay only the connection met the condition. If you don't sure on it, simply remove the delay lines, it doesn't make any different.

It writes in both exim_mainlog and exim_rejectlog.

Hi,
Do you know it cpanel 11 does this check already, or do we need to add this again ?

Thanks

cPanel11 don't have HELO ACL.

Thanks,
Can you provide detailed how-to or update your tutorial, since cpanel11 has diferent acl?s, and I?m not sure where I should copy your code ?

Thank you very much

I just updated my exim conf to acomodate the new cpanel 11 acl's. What I did was install the HELLo checks, the Dictiionary attack prevention (not sure if there is a built in one as well) and the sender callout hack (not part of the tutorial). I also updated my Razor and DCC. I left out the RBL check to use the built in one instead and the anti-spam section to use the one included in Cpanel as well.

Note: need to remove the reference to clam_av in the first box, it will conflict with the one hard codded into the exim conf.

Has been running for today and no problems so far. I am still waiting to receive from a few of the domains that I had whitelisted in the old system to make sure the are getting through.
