I had a client contact me about uploading images with the WYSIWYG editor. When he clicked the icon to insert an image and then the button to upload an image, the image is never uploaded. I confirmed that this is a problem. The upload just "spins its wheels" and never finishes. If you cancel and try again, you just get a blank dialog box. I have confirmed this problem exists in both IE7 and FireFox 2.0.0.11.

Can anyone confirm this problem?

I tried it. Renamed image to 1.jpg. Still didn't work. I even tried a tiny 7kb thumbnail jpg.

Do you run v 2.33? If yes and still have problem, please submit support ticket. Make sure you include cPanel access to the testing account if it is a server-wide problem. If it is a specific account problem, please submit its access.

Yes, v2.33. However, the last time I did an update, it did not load the sitebuilder setup page like it normally does. I had some message about not being able to load some page. Everything *appeared* to be normal, so I didn't worry about it at the time.

What is the command to re-install from the secure shell? I know I saw it on here somewhere.

To force update scripts and database:
rm -f /var/cpanel/rvglobalsoft/rvsitebuilder/var/INSTALL_COMPLETE.php
rm -f /var/cpanel/rvglobalsoft/rvsitebuilder/rvsitebuilderversion.txt
perl /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/rvsitebuilderinstaller/autoinstaller.cgi

And go to root WHM/RVSiteBuilder, it will automatically rebuild the database for you. On v2.33, there is a link to update RVSiteBuilder in root WHM/RVSiteBuilder Manager and the checkbox to force update as well.

I did the updates as listed above, then used WHM/RVSiteBuilder Manager to update the database. It failed and redirected me to a generic search page. I have submitted a support ticket for the problem.

I fixed your update issue. I notice that you run WHM 10.8 which EOL since last month (http://blog.cpanel.net/?p=24) You are highly recommend to update cPanel to cPanel 11. Upgrade to cPanel 11 is a hugh update, you should prepare to encounter the problems. Check cPanel forum and find a suitable procedure for your server before proceed.

Thanks, I'll have to talk to the folks at my datacenter about WHM. In the meantime, the image upload problem is still not fixed. Any thoughts on that?

I am having a huge problem as well. Sounds similar but heres the situation. I've attempted to add pictures and I can add a few and then the following occurs

1) I get a message while trying to load a picture that the picture already exists and would I like to over ride it? When I look through the list of pictures already loaded into sitebuilder the picture isn't there. Even if I rename the picture it does no good.

2) I get a "Script Error in line 61/Character 2 Error Code 0, which won't allow me to do Anything as far as uploading pictures.

I've had support working on this for 2 days now with no success. I'm not super familiar with the deep inner workings of the builder, so if you can help me I'll need a brief walk through of how to fix this. I have a jewelry and gift site and not being able to add new product is definitely impacting my business..I'm on my knees here..

Please submit support ticket at http://support.cpanellicense.com/ including your cPanel access. We need to take a look.
