How do you set it not to show the image file name in the Photo Album?

You cannot remove it on the current version. However, there is a plan to allow end-user add custom text for the images. It will be available in 2 - 3 weeks.

Geez, how long does it take to accomplish this? When are they finally going to get rid of the image file name showing up?

Looking thru old postings, users have been requesting this for over 2 years. One posting had almost 11,000 views, so this is obviously a major concern with a majority of users.

While they've finally added an image description box, the only time it's truly visible is in thumbnail view. If you choose to look at pictures in regular size, the image file name is predominately displayed at the top of the picture, while the image description is hardly noticeable at the very bottom of the image.

The whole photo gallery set-up really needs to be entirely revamped. I've used many free photo hosting sites and I cannot recall one that includes the image file name when being viewed. The whole thing just has such an unprofessional look to it, I really wish they would fix this issue, and judging from the number of postings/views on this subject, I know I'm not alone in feeling this way.

Just thought I'd add my name to this list of people who want these features enabled - not just the ability to remove the file name but also to move the description.

Nine months later and over 2,000 views of this topic and still nothing done?

hmmm...almost a year later & we're given a whole new version and yet nothing regarding this issue nor any other improvements to the photo gallery at all....there's been almost 4000 people who have viewed this post looking for an answer to this issue....when oh when are we going to be given a better photo gallery????
