Full Version: Enhanced news ability.

I have two suggestions for the news system which i think would be very useful.

1. Ability to call the new's from different locations. For example, if I wanted to post the news using rvskin, but I also wanted the same news to be displayed on the front page of my website. I think this would be very useful, because it would eliminate the need to post news twice, thus saving time.

2. Ability to add different categories to the News. This would allow us to better organize the news and information we present to our users.

I know you busy, and have alot of features your adding, but i strong believe you should consider this.

Thank you.

How does this differ from the current system?

Ah, thank you for clarifying.

If it is implemented, I hope that it comes with a switch (maybe client controlled but at least on a post by post basis). Some clients tend to get annoyed by email from their hosts, and some hosts tend to post a lot of news ph34r.gif

If this feature implemeted, it will be a checkbox when creating news. Before doing it I need to aggegrate all contact email, owner for each accounts. It seems a lots of work.
