I am new to web design of any kind, so I'm sorry if this seems a stupid question!

I'm creating a custom online form but am unsure what to enter into the following fields:

Character Width

Max Characters

Initial Value

Any help is kindly appreciated!

The "Character Width" option defines the width of the field. That is how many visible characters it can contain.

The "Max Characters" option defines the maximum length of the field. That is how many characters can be entered in the field.

The "Initial Value" setting defines what will appear in the box as the default value.
