What error do you get when you try to restore?

Also, do you have a full backup of your site from a day before this happened? (Full backup from cpanel not from RVSB).

Sergio.

Maybe your backup file is broken. If you already published your project, you can restore it using following instruction.

1. Find the project_id by view the HTML source of the published web site. At the bottom, you should find something like this.

<!-- Publish : RVSiteBuilder PRO Version 3.40 -->
<!-- Name : Cowboy Justice2 -->
<!-- Template : 17-319627-1_black_DiyPicture_2 -->
<!-- ID : 7e47e2980c8ff4q69d2baa5a6f49689d -->

ID is the project_id.

2. Go to cPanel >> File Manager (make sure check the check box to show hidden file) and go to /home/{user_account}/.rvsitebuilder/projects
3. Create the new folder. The name of the folder is project_id found from 1. If you already have project_id folder here, skip the step4 and try step5 first.
4. On your published web site, find the following folders and files, and copy it to the project_id folder

Folder
- documents ((if exists)
- images (if exists)
- media (if exists))
- flash_xx (xx is random number)
- albums_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (if exists, xx is random number)
- templates_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (if exists, xx is random number)

File
- albums_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.php (if exists)
- rvsDbBackup.sql
- setDragAndDropItem.ini (if exists)
- setOptionTableTop.ini (if exists)

Make sure the owner, group and permission of the files and folders are correct.

PS: the important file is rvsDbBackup.sql. If you do not have it, there is no way to restore it back. You need to recreate the web site manually.
5. Go to cpanel >> RVSiteBuilder of {user_account}.
6. You should find the missing project recovering dialogue. Click check box project_id and click restore button.
